EGX shows negative performance on Wednesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday's trading session lower after the EGX30 main declined 1.69% to 24,703.55 points.

Both the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session in the red zone after falling by 1.40% to 5,349.53 points and by 1.43% to 7,753.97 points, respectively.

The turnover stood at EGP 5.31 billion through the exchange of 1.29 billion shares, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 1.67 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 280.34 million and EGP 60.39 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 340.74 million.
